Dr. Joon

As the passionate and committed dentist that he is, Dr. Joon’s education did not stop after he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry. To this day, he maintains active memberships with professional organizations, like the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. His goal is simple, but important: to use everything he has learned over the years to help his patients achieve smiles that are as healthy as they are beautiful.

As for life outside our office, Dr. Joon enjoys spending time with his wife, watching Korean dramas, and trying new restaurants in the area!

Dr. Hwangpo

Dr. Hwangpo’s journey to becoming a pediatric dentist near Love Field began at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he completed a dual-degree undergraduate program. Then, he attended the New York University College of Dentistry and completed his pediatric dentistry residency at NYU College of Dentistry. Now, he spends his days doing what he loves: helping growing smiles thrive!

When Dr. Hwangpo isn’t at our office or pursuing continuing education, you’ll most likely find him spending time with his family, trying new foods, or traveling.

We always have a great experience at this dental office! The staff is friendly, professional, and very welcoming every single visit. The dentist is gentle, thorough, and takes time to explain everything clearly. I especially appreciate how patient and kind they are with my kids; they make them feel comfortable and at ease, which means so much as a parent. The office is always clean and organized, and appointments run smoothly. Highly recommend for both adults and families!

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I find the best place to get dental work?

If you are looking for the best place to get dental work, you will need to decide what is most important. Every person wants something different, so it is up to you to determine which criteria are essential. For example:

  • Do you want a dentist who offers comprehensive dentistry or specialized services?
  • Do you need the dentist to be in-network with your dental insurance plan?
  • Does an office need to have flexible operating hours?
  • Does the location of the dental office matter?
  • Does the dentist need to use innovative technologies?

Once you decide what matters most, you should review various websites, read doctors’ bios and patient reviews, and look at any smile galleries they might have. This will give you a clearer idea about the kind of work they provide.

Finally, when you’ve settled on one, call to schedule an appointment.

What if I cannot afford to see a dentist?

If you cannot afford to see a dentist (or believe you cannot), do not avoid scheduling an appointment. Although it may seem difficult, most practices offer multiple payment options, so even if you don’t have dental insurance, there is often an alternative solution.

Failing to receive regular oral healthcare will only worsen your existing symptoms and put you at risk of costlier treatment in the future.

At Casper Family Dentistry of Dallas, our dentists near Love Field proudly welcome dental insurance and are in-network with most PPO plans. We also accept Medicaid for children, including DentaQuest, CHIP, and MCNA. Additionally, you can choose to enroll in our in-house membership plan for valuable discounts and access to preventive services, or choose a flexible financing plan through CareCredit.

How many dentists are in Love Field?

It is estimated that there are between 2 and 7 dentists in the Love Field area. Although the population is smaller, it gives these individuals a chance to choose where they want to receive long-term oral healthcare.

However, while there are other options available, there are many reasons why Casper Family Dentistry of Dallas is the best place for you and your family:

  • We see patients of all ages, including children, teenagers, adults, and seniors.
  • We offer comprehensive dental services, including preventive and restorative care, cosmetic dentistry, emergency assistance, children’s dentistry, and much more.
  • We are a Diamond Invisalign Provider.
  • We offer same-day dental emergency treatment.
  • We provide flexible operating hours, including weekend and evening appointments.
  • Our dental team is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish.
  • We provide multiple payment options, including dental insurance, flexible financing, Medicaid for children, and an in-house membership plan.
  • We have a pediatric dentist on staff.

How can I schedule a same-day appointment?

If you need a same-day dental appointment, it is likely due to a serious emergency. Our dentists set aside time to handle this type of visit, so you can call our office to speak to a member of our team and get the help you need.

Never send an email when you need a same-day appointment, as this will only prolong the process and delay a response. Instead, calling allows you to quickly explain the problem so that we can get you in as quickly as possible.

Once you’re in our office, we’ll identify the problem, help alleviate the pain, and build a plan that is designed to restore your smile.
